The Atlanta Falcons will have an extra touch of home at Super Bowl LI with Luke Bryan handling the national anthem.

The country superstar from Leesburg will perform as part of the pregame festivities at NRG Stadium in Houston on Feb. 5. His performance will be broadcast live on Fox prior to kickoff of the game between the Falcons and New England Patriots.

Actor Kriston Lee Pumphrey will perform both the national anthem and "America the Beautiful" in American Sign Language.

Bryan joins a diverse list of anthem singers including Lady Gaga (who has graduated to halftime performer this year), Idina Menzel, Renee Fleming, Alicia Keys, Cher, Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston and Garth Brooks.
