Charles Kelley’s The Driver tour has hit a speed bump.

The Lady Antebellum favorite nixed many of the first dates from his solo tour, including Dec. 5 at The Tabernacle. The Dec. 3 show in Charlotte has also been canceled.

No reason was given for the cancellations, which included original tour kickoff dates last weekend in Ohio and New Jersey. Refunds are available at point of purchase. A spokesperson said the show will be rescheduled next year.

Augusta native Kelley recently announced that while the mega-popular Lady A isn’t breaking up, they are taking a few months off. Plans include a solo album for Kelley (he recently released the single, “The Driver”) and a family gospel project for Hillary Scott. Dave Haywood, who became a dad last year, said he intends to spend the downtime hanging out with his family.

Kelley expects to release his solo offering in early 2016. His tour dates currently extend through January.
