Last year, Kenny Rogers announced plans to retire from the road and open a Kenny-themed entertainment park near Atlanta.
We haven't heard any official plans about a potential KennyWood, but the country music icon has unveiled his initial round of final dates, including the already-announced show on June 19 at Chastain Park Amphitheatre. Tickets for that show are already on sale for $30.50-$60.50.
Rogers’ “The Gambler’s Last Deal” tour will roll through the end of the year after launching May 13 in Minnesota. He will be joined by Linda Davis (“Does He Love You”) on all of his U.S. dates.
The concerts will be packaged as a retrospective of Rogers’ 50-year career, enhanced with vintage photos and never-before-seen video clips. The singer plans to present all of his hits, but also perform songs that he hasn’t in years.
Fans who want a closer experience can purchase a VIP ticket package that includes a meet and greet with Rogers and memorabilia from the tour. For more information, visit www.kennyrogers.com.
