Georgians take four spots on Forbes' highest-paid list

Dec 15, 2014Musicians with Georgia ties cups runneth over with cash in 2014. Justin Bieber, Elton John, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean all took spots on Forbes' world's highest-paid musicians list for 2014:
- Justin Bieber, who started his career in Atlanta with R&B star Usher and manager Scooter Braun and has long been rumored to be eying property in Buckhead, was sixth on the list with a cool $80 million, thanks in large part to a profitable world tour.
- Elton John, who once owned a residence in Buckhead, came in at 21 on the list with $45 million after playing big arena shows.
- Country singer Jason Aldean, who was raised in Macon, tied for 24 with $37 million after several multi-platinum albums.
- Country singer Luke Bryan, who was raised in Leesburg, tied for 28 with $34 million, with a top-selling album.
