The Fox Theatre will close immediately for at least two weeks, which will affect upcoming performances of “Miss Saigon,” All-Star Legends of Hip-Hop, Bill Maher and tours of the venue.

The production of “Miss Saigon” was scheduled to run from March 17-22. Ticket holders are urged to keep tickets as Broadway in Atlanta, which was bringing the show to town, tries to reschedule.

Those with tickets to any of the aforementioned events will be notified via email of next steps.

According to Broadway in Atlanta, all performances for remaining shows in the season are expected to go on as scheduled.

Here is the full statement from the Fox regarding the postponements:

As we navigate the escalating and continually evolving COVID-19 situation, and with Governor Brian Kemp’s declaration of a Public Health Emergency in Georgia as of March 14, the Fox Theatre is temporarily closing effective immediately. We anticipate the closure will last at least two weeks, but management will continue to evaluate based on the latest information from local and national public health officials…We thank our patrons in advance for their patience as we field a high volume of inquiries during this unprecedented event.
