Elton John’s Atlanta fans will need to stay positive that the musician’s ear infection clears up by the weekend.

John was forced to postpone his Tuesday night concert in Orlando and Wednesday performance in Tampa because of the ailment.

He has two sold-out concerts slated at State Farm Arena on Friday and Saturday as part of his lengthy “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, which began in September and will roll through 2020. Thursday is already a scheduled day off.

Fans had packed Orlando’s sold-out Amway Center when an announcement was made about 30 minutes past the scheduled show time that John was given “doctor’s orders” and could not perform.

Both of the Florida dates will be rescheduled. Stay tuned for any changes regarding the Atlanta concerts.
