Deep Purple and Judas Priest co-headline summer tour

This summer, two of the most iconic bands in rock music will co-headline a North American tour.

Deep Purple and Judas Priest will hit Atlanta on September 14 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park. The tour kicks off August 21 in Cincinnati and will hit 25 cities across the U.S. and Canada before wrapping September 30 in Wheatland, California.

Last year, Deep Purple released the studio album, inFinite which includes 10 new tracks featuring the spirit of the 70s. The pioneers of metal have released five studio albums since 1996, as well as solo work and special projects from band members.

Just last month, Judas Priest released, Firepower, the latest studio album. It has since become one of the most successful album's the band's almost 50-year career landing in the "top-5" of 17 countries and earning their highest chart placement ever in the U.S.

Expect to hear old favorites and new hits from both bands on this upcoming run.
