Yes, folks, it’s that time again. Time for my generous contacts to donate tickets to things and for me to pass them along to you – otherwise known as my annual 12 Days of Christmas giveaway (fully realizing that the real 12 Days of Christmas starts on Christmas day, so save your emails to correct me!).
For the next dozen days (including, well, today), you can check The Music Scene blog to see what’s on the docket and, as usual, some of the cool people I work with year-round have come through with some fun stuff.
So let's get this started with a pair of tickets to see The Roots on their holiday tour, Dec. 29 at the Coca-Cola Roxy. If you'd like to buy tickets, they are $52.50 and you can purchase them here.
The rules to enter any of the 12 Days giveaways will stay the same throughout (with dates and other obvious things changed):
Email me at mruggieri@ajc.com by 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15 (you will receive my "out of office" message, but be assured that I have received your entry). Please do not enter if you cannot attend and please, only one entry per email address.
You must put “Day 1” in the subject line or I will not see your email. If you tell me, “I love The Roots!” or anything other than “Day 1,” I will not see your email and you will have absolutely no chance of winning.
I will randomly select — and contact — a winner (I’m taking a few days off, so it will likely be middle of next week).
While this isn't a requirement, I would really appreciate a follow on Twitter or Facebook .
