The Dave Matthews Band is taking the summer off, but Matthews and pal Tim Reynolds will keep the music playing.

The duo will kick off a tour May 3 in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and swing through town at 7:30 p.m. May 31 with a show at Verizon Amphitheatre in Alpharetta. Tickets are $40.50-$95 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 10.

Members of the DMB Warehouse Fan Association can buy tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Jan. 19 (www.warehouse.davematthewsband.com).

The show will feature Matthews and Reynolds playing stripped-down, acoustic songs. The pair has released three live double-CDs since 1999; the most recent, “Live in Las Vegas,” bowed in 2010.

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors. And while Atlanta wasn't included in Trump's list, the city fits that profile under Mayor Andre Dickens. (Photo Illustration: Philip Robibero / AJC | Source: Getty)
