City Winery will temporarily cease operations nationwide – including Atlanta – until further notice.

Founder and CEO Michael Dorf said in a statement that the restaurant/venue/winery tried to find a way to “balance safe social distancing without total hibernation,” but he no longer believes that is possible.

The upcoming itinerary for the Atlanta location included Sinead O’Conner, Howard Jones and Lisa Fischer.

Dorf assured ticketholders that they will soon hear from the venue with more information.

While the restaurant and venue cannot operate, Dorf said wine is still being locally produced and new home delivery options will soon be announced.

Other City Winery branches are located in New York, Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C, Nashville and Philadelphia.
