Chaka Khan is postponing her slate of July concerts to enter rehab and battle her addiction to prescription drugs.

The soul singer has an Aug. 5 date scheduled at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, but according to a statement from Khan’s representatives, she will return to her performances beginning Aug. 1.

Khan, 63, announced on Sunday that she is voluntarily entering a treatment program for an addiction to the same medication that led to longtime friend Prince's death in April.

Khan’s sister, Yvonne Stevens (aka Taka Boom), has entered the addiction rehab and aftercare program as well.
