Atlantans react to D'Angelo's first album in 14 years

If you still think about R&B star D'Angelo's racy music video for the 2000 hit "Untitled (How Does It Feel)?" and wonder what the heck happened to the singer from Richmond who seemed to have so much promise, you're not alone.

D'Angelo -- who was born Michael Eugene Archer -- released his debut, "Brown Sugar," in 1995, and followed it up with the much-lauded "Voodoo" in 2000. Since then, he's been mostly in the wind, save for a handful of live appearances.

At midnight, D'Angelo made his long-anticipated return with the album "Black Messiah," which he recorded with The Roots drummer ?uestlove, and R&B fans have been rejoicing for the past 24 hours on Twitter.  Atlanta fans have been giving the album mostly positive reviews:
