FRIDAY

Gucci Mane

Gucci Mane is hitting the comeback trail hard. Less than two months after being released from prison , the Atlanta rapper returned to the Atlanta clubs and is preparing this homecoming concert. Dubbed "Gucci & Friends," the show will contain a "star-studded" lineup that has yet to be announced. Following his May 26 release from prison, Mane — born Radric Davis — released "First Day Out Tha Feds," produced by Atlanta's Mike Will Made It. Last week, Gucci and fellow hometown rapper Young Thug teamed for the new song "Guwop Home."

8 p.m. July 22. $41.50-$195.50. Fox Theatre, 660 Peachtree St. N.E., Atlanta. 1-855-285-8499, www.foxtheatre.org .

Garbage

Shirley Manson and the boys (Steve Marker, Duke Erikson and Butch Vig) have reconvened for the “Strange Little Birds” tour, named after their new album. Their sixth record, released last month, is the follow-up to 2012’s “Not Your Kind of People.” While a few new songs will pepper the live show, fans can expect to hear ‘90s favorites including “Only Happy When It Rains” and “Stupid Girl.”

8 p.m. July 22. $49.50-$59.50. The Tabernacle, 152 Luckie St., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, www.livenation.com.

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa

It isn’t exactly a surprise that the name chosen for this double-bill summer run is “The High Road.” The two rappers have a longstanding rapport. Most notably, they teamed for the 2011 hit “Young, Wild and Free” from the movie “Mac & Devin Go to High School” and also starred in the film. Atlanta is third on a run of 33 summer dates.

With Kevin Gates, Jhene Aiko, Casey Veggies and DJ Drama. 7 p.m. July 22. $28-$70.75. Lakewood Amphitheatre, 2002 Lakewood Way, Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com.

SUNDAY

5 Seconds of Summer

Has the 5SOS revolution cooled a bit since last summer's tour ? Depends who you ask. For their second headlining tour, "Sounds Live, Feels Live," a takeoff on their latest album, "Sounds Good, Feels Good," the Aussie punk rockers will undoubtedly give you plenty of reasons to pogo with hits "She Looks So Perfect," "Jet Black Heart" and "Hey Everybody" in the set.

With Hey Violet and One OK Rock. 7:30 p.m. July 24. $25-$89.95. Lakewood Amphitheatre, 2002 Lakewood Way, Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com.

WEDNESDAY

Guns N’ Roses

Since Axl Rose warmed up his vocal cords during his stint as the frontman for AC/DC earlier this summer in Europe, he should remain in fine form for the GNR Atlanta date with bandmates Slash and Duff McKagan. Prepare for some face melting, as recent set lists have included a career-spanning spate of songs from “Welcome to the Jungle” to “Mr. Brownstone” to “Chinese Democracy.”

With the Cult. 8:30 p.m. July 27. $45.50-$375. Georgia Dome, 1 Georgia Dome Drive N.W., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com.

THURSDAY

Pitbull

Miami native Pitbull launched the Latin-tinged “The Bad Man Tour” with Prince Royce earlier this month in California. Along with his snappy attire, Pitbull is known for his business acumen and a string of Top 40 hits — many featuring other pop stars — including “Timber” (with Kesha), “Don’t Stop the Party” (with TJR) and this year’s “Bad Man” with Robin Thicke, Travis Barker and Joe Perry. The song comes from his recently released 10th studio album, “Climate Change.”

With Prince Royce. 7 p.m. July 28. $29.95-$139.95. Philips Arena, 1 Philips Drive, Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com.

Cracker

In 2014, the David Lowery-fronted alt-country-rockers released “Berkeley to Bakersfield,” a double album that spotlighted two distinct areas of California — the northern Bay region and the five-hours-south Bakersfield. The “Berkeley” disc featured the original Cracker lineup — Lowery, Davey Faragher, Michael Urbano and Johnny Hickman — and focused on garage rock. The “Bakersfield” side slanted toward what the band dubbed “California country.” Both discs perfectly epitomize the eclectic nature of Cracker.

7:30 p.m. July 28. $26-$34. City Winery Atlanta, 650 North Ave., Ponce City Market, Atlanta. 615-324-1010, www.citywinery.com/atlanta/.
