Butch Walker
Georgia native Walker gives a nod to “The Outsiders” with his upcoming eighth studio album, “Stay Gold” (due Aug. 26). The forthright performer-producer used his last album, “Afraid of Ghosts,” to work through the death of his father, but returns to upbeat “greaser rock ’n’ roll” on this latest.

In a recent interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Seal mentioned that he’s enjoying this current run of live dates because “it’s a very groove-based, rhythmic show.” Along with fan favorites “Crazy,” “Prayer for the Dying” and “Kiss From a Rose,” expect to hear a few cover songs sprinkled throughout the set — most likely from a Seal favorite, Hall & Oates.

Yacht Rock Revival
Break out the captain’s hats, because it’s time for the annual soiree steered not by Julie Your Cruise Director, but Atlanta’s Yacht Rock Revue. For this year’s gathering of all things lite-rock, the band has recruited another stellar lineup of musical smoothies, including Juice Newton, Ambrosia, Stephen Bishop, Peter Beckett and Ronn Moss of Player, Robbie Dupree, Matthew Wilder and a farewell performance by Atlanta’s Starbuck.

Fifth Harmony
The quintet behind the pop hits “Worth It” and “Work From Home,” which recently garnered an MTV Video Award nomination for best collaboration video, are stocking their set list with songs from their new second album, “7/27,” as well as their debut, “Reflection.” Harmonizers, as the group’s fans are known, will be thrilled to know that the girls have an elaborate stage production to complement the music.

The Bacon Brothers
Michael Bacon is a TV and film composer, and his brother Kevin is, well, yes, Kevin Bacon — six degrees and all. The siblings have played together since they were kids, but joined the professional circuit in the mid-’90s with a musical style that blends country, folk and pop. Earlier this month, they released a vinyl 45 of a new song, “Driver.”

Drake and Future
Drake is already having another stellar year with his "Views" album, which he will spotlight on the Summer Sixteen tour with Atlanta rapper Future (and "special guests" not yet named). Drake performed in Atlanta last fall as one of the main stage headliners at Music Midtown. Last month, he and Future publicly supported their pal Gucci Mane with a surprise appearance at Gucci's homecoming concert at the Fox Theatre.
