A new healthy eating option from the team behind a local favorite will be unveiled in West Midtown this fall.

Better Brands, which also owns the popular Yeah! Burger restaurants , will open Upbeet at 1071 Howell Mill Road, a new adaptive reuse project next to the Westside Ironworks development.

Upbeet's concept allows customers to choose from a salad, grain bowl or protein plate on the serving line, which they can customize as they move down the line. The restaurant will also feature a smoothie, superfood bowl and juice counter. The menu will include vegetarian, vegan, paleo and gluten-free options.

Beverage options include local draft beers and organic wines on the alcoholic side and cold-pressed organic juices, kombucha, lemonades, organic iced teas, natural sodas, seltzer waters and organic coffee on the non-alcoholic side.

The 100-seat dining room and covered patio's “California casual” style features oak paneling, white brick, geometric tile, live plants and walnut furniture from the local B-10 Union.
