Instead of race drinking—you know, drinking as much as you can within a short amount of time to qualify for happy hour drink specials—check out the following nine restaurants, which offer a slew of boozy beverages for several hours. Best of all, they are wallet-friendly, which means you can have a couple of bucks left over for other important things like an Uber ride.

Park Tavern: Every Wednesday, this midtown restaurant offers half-price bottles of wine. And, every time it rains, the bartender pours $1 drafts of house-brewed beer.

10 Degrees South and YEBO: Happy Monday! Celebrate the start of the traditional workweek with half-price bottles of signature South African wines at both 10 Degrees South and YEBO. Both Buckhead-based restaurants offer a bottle of Boschendal, a combination of chardonnay and pinot noir, for $22.50 plus several other international flavors.

Guaco Joe's: Chill out. This new Mexican restaurant in Vinings offers $5 frozen margaritas including strawberry, mango, raspberry, peach and their famous sangria swirl every Wednesday.

MAYA Steaks & Seafood: On Thursdays, head to this Sandy Springs restaurant for half-price bottles of wine from Chef Mimmo Alboumeh's handpicked wine list.

Trader Vic's: "Mai Tai Roa Ae," which means "out of this world" in Tahitian, has been adapted as a drink called mai tai. No need to go all out of space when you can sip on the cocktail every Thursday for $6 at this downtown restaurant.

STK Atlanta: This midtown restaurant has partnered with Belvedere vodka to offer $7 specialty cocktail menu just for the weekend. The name? Belvedere All Day And Saturday Sunday, which is affectionately known as BADASS. The best part? The drink specials are available everyday, from open to close.

Smokebelly: Sip on select bottles of wine, which are half-off on every Wednesday.

Grindhouse Killer Burgers: Supercilious, yes, but not in the way you may think. On Thursdays, guests can enjoy cocktails from the snooty drinks menu for $5, including "Putin's Pony," Grindhouse's version of the Moscow Mule.
