Twin Smokers open
After a long delay, Twin Smokers , the latest concept from Legacy Restaurant Partners, opened in downtown Atlanta's Luckie Marietta District on Dec. 27. The 4,000-square-foot space next to STATS features a pair of custom fire engine red Oyler 700 smokers. Wahoo! Wine & Provisions
Wahoo! Wine & Provisions , a new retail wine shop from Wahoo! Grill's Ski Peterson and Pam Ledbetter, is set to open Saturday, offering meat, cheese, produce, flowers, and gifts. "Wahoo! Pub fare at Pijiu Belly
A new Asian-influenced bar/restaurant, Pijiu Belly , has opened on 10th Street between Georgia Tech and West Midtown. Described as providing "a festive atmosphere and fresh delicious American-Asian pub fare," the menu ranges from cheese and charcuterie plates to burgers and sandwiches. Harbour House closes
Harbour House Pub, formerly Harbour Bar & Fish House, has closed after three years in business on Church Street in Decatur. The New England-style seafood spot was known for fresh fish entrees and smoked meats. “As much as we love the restaurant and our guests, new opportunities have come up and I have to make the right adjustments and sensible decisions,” owner Sean Keenan wrote on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
