June 6, 2016The wait is nearly over for the opening of a metro Atlanta location of a popular Asheville-based restaurant.
Tupelo Honey Cafe will open its doors at 4600 Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs on Monday, June 20. The restaurant, which features Southern dishes from Cackalackie Pulled Pork to fried green tomatoes, is also giving customers a chance at a sneak peek with "Great Fried Chicken Taste Test" on June 7 and a VIP preview dinner on June 12.
The Sandy Springs location -- the first in Georgia -- will be added to 12 already-existing locations in North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina and Virginia.
