From July 27 to September 28, several local top chefs from Metro Atlanta will be leading demonstration and tasting sessions called Simple Abundance at The Cook's Warehouse. The culinary series is a partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB), which will allow participants to learn preparation secrets for select dishes, enjoy samplings, win door prizes and simultaneously help feed Atlanta's hungry.

Multiple chefs will be volunteering their time and resources to lead each session. Participating chefs will include Luis Damian of Escorpion, leading the Tour of Mexico session; Billy Allin of Cakes & Ale will lead A Summer Supper from Cakes & Ale; Kevin Gillespie of Revival will conduct A Night at Revival; and Chef Linda Harrell of Cibo e Beve will demo Italian Zuppas. A mystery chef as well as Mixologist Bryan Sheetz of Escorpion are also scheduled to participate. Each session costs $55 - $75 per person; 100 percent of class tuition will benefit the ACFB.

The Cook’s Warehouse will donate space for the Simple Abundance series at four locations: Brookhaven, Decatur, East Cobb and Midtown/Ansley Mall.
