Food truck fans will have a day to explore the best in mobile cuisine at the fourth annual
Atlanta Street Food Festival
. More than 50 trucks, including MIX'd UP, Ibiza Bites, Genki Sushi Food Truck and Viet-Nomie's, will park in Piedmont Park from 12-10 p.m. Saturday, July 11, so guests can taste the day away. In addition to food, local merchants and artisans will also be present; live entertainment will round out the day's festivities.
The Atlanta Street Food Festival is free and open to the public, however, event-goers must purchase wristbands from on-site check-in stations in order to buy food and alcohol.
New this year, fans will be able to vote for their favorite food truck from noon to 6 p.m. by texting the name of their favorite food truck to 411247. The winner will be announced at 7 p.m.
As in previous years, a portion of the Atlanta Street Food Festival proceeds will support the Giving Kitchen, whose mission is to provide crisis grants to members of Atlanta’s restaurant community facing unanticipated hardship.
