Restaurant news and events

Chef Todd English is bringing specialty drinks and neo-tavern foods to The Battery at SunTrust Park. Todd English Tavern, PBR Atlanta and Sports & Social will be open later this month.

Sports & Social  is a sports bar and restaurant that will feature live sporting events, such as, ping pong, air hockey and foosball. Todd English Tavern will showcase southern and international food in a space that has an open kitchen with a wood-fired grill and an expansive bar. Cowboy bar PBR Atlanta  is named after the Professional Bull Riders Association and will feature a mechanical bull.

In Gwinnett County, a new night market will debut this weekend.  David Lee, owner of Saigon Cafe restaurant chain, is behind the concept. At the night market Lee is hoping visitors will be able to "taste the world" with food and artisans from around the world.

Bytes Restaurant is bringing technology to the table. The mind behind Do at The View Italian Restaurant, Christian Ruffin, is behind a  new restaurant that will be located near Georgia Tech reported WhatNowAtlanta.

Bytes will be located adjacent to cookie company, Tiff's Treats, in the corner space in Square on Fifth.  The concept will follow Do a the View's and utilize technology not normally seen in a restaurant. The signs indicate that the restaurant is coming but there is not opening date as of right now.
