A restaurant group that specializes in British pubs has expanded with a new location in Dunwoody.

The Duke opened last week at 4685 Ashford Dunwoody Road, the latest addition to the Dunwoody Restaurant Group chain of pubs, which also includes Ye Olde Dunwoody Tavern, The Royal Oak, Iron Horse Tavern, The Ship & Anchor Pub, The Bat & Ball Pub, O’Brian’s Tavern, The King George Tavern and The Black Swan Tavern.

The Duke's menu mirrors those of the the other properties, with a variety of starters, salads, sandwiches and entrees including fish and chips and Shepherd's Pie.

On the beverage side, look for an extensive craft beer list, along with beers from Britain and throughout Europe, as well as local spirits and a selection of classic British cocktails highlighting gins.

Dunwoody Restaurant Group was founded by Huw Thomas, who moved to America in 1986 from England.

The Duke is open from 11:30 a.m.-1 a.m. Monday Thursday; 11:30 a.m.-2 a.m. Friday-Saturday; and 12:30 p.m.-midnight Sunday.
