Just Add Honey is opening on the Eastside Beltline.

A Sweet Auburn Curb Market tea shop is expanding its footprint with a new location.

Just Add Honey plans to open on Jan. 17 behind Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall just off the Eastside Beltline, Eater Atlanta first reported.

The business started as an online shop in 2006 and later opened a brick-and-mortar spot in the Sweet Auburn Curb Market followed by a tea room at Hammonds House in West End (where founders Brandi and Jermail Shelton were married).

The new location will offer indoor and patio seating as well as two rooms for parties and events.

The food and drink offerings will include pastries and baked good from local bakeries in addition to more than 39 loose-leaf teas to choose from including varieties of black, green, white, herbal and fruit teas. Just Add Honey teas are also available online and at local farmers markets.

"You have these wonderful experiences over a cup of tea," Brandi Shelton, who also works as a commercial prop stylist, told the AJC in 2017. "Tea is a safe space. It just feels good like I'm able to take a moment for myself to breathe and escape."
