Family attraction and resort Margaritaville at Lanier Islands in Buford is set to launch this year, complete with several new options for dining.

The first phase of the project reimagined with singer Jimmy Buffett's brand is set to open this May and will include new food and beverage offerings at Paradise Beach, an inland beach and water park.

Look for Paradise Beach Cantina, formerly Gianni’s Italian Bistro & Pizzeria, serving up items including burritos, tacos, salads, sangria and margaritas; Frank and Lola’s Pizzeria, which will offer pizza, wraps and salads; and The Tiki Bar, which will serve frozen beverages.

Landshark Landing, an entertainment area for adults, will feature LandShark Bar & Grill, the former home of Sunset Cove Café & Club, which will serve items such as street tacos, nachos, coconut shrimp, salads, beer and drinks; License to Chill Bar, which will serve beer, margaritas and Bloody Marys; L2C Grill, a fast-casual hut with burgers, hot dogs and fries; Feeding Frenzy Fried Shack which will offer shrimp baskets, chicken tenders and wings; and Dog and Brews, which will serve hot dogs along with 12 taps featuring several local draft selections

The family that operates the Lanier Islands resort is working with Safe Harbor Development , which will take over management of LanierWorld including the waterpark, marinas and campground at the 1,500-acre resort.
