Food and music festival in Candler Park. Lots of wine tasting at Murphy’s. There are several fun, food events happening in Atlanta, so add one or all four of the following activities to your calendar. Be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time.
Thursday, June 1: Head to the rooftop patio of 5Church Atlanta for a night of craft beers and local fare. The Midtown hotspot will team up with SweetWater Brewing Company for its third Tap Takeover, which will feature 420 Extra Pale Ale, Goin' Coastal (IPA with Pineapple), Hash Session (IPA) and Mexican Lager (Hatchery Series Release #2). These beers will be served as a flight of four ($20) or as single pints ($7); they are only available on the rooftop patio.

June 1-30: For every donation of $1 or more, Marlow's Tavern guests will receive a $5 gift card to use on a future visit. This deal is in support of the restaurant's commitment to Special Olympics Georgia.

June 2-3: The 2017 Candler Park Music + Food Festival will feature food, drinks, music and more—all the ingredients necessary to deliver a weekend of fun. Twenty local restaurant vendors and food trucks will be on-site including The Pup Truck—for hot dogs of course, Sweet Auburn BBQ, King of Pops, Queen of Cream and The Fry Guy. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. June 2 and noon June 3. Weekend tickets, which can be purchased here, are $25 - $80; children under 12, accompanied by an adult ticket holder, do not require tickets.

June 3-4: Murphy's Wine Shop will set up a special tent for a tasting event featuring over 15 wines for $5. Guests who purchase four bottles of wine will get their $5 back. The Saturday hours will be 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday, 12:30-6 p.m.
