If you’ve ever had a family member affected by a car accident, the Baldwin family’s story will resonate with you. This past December, their car was struck by a reckless driver, leaving the mother DeAnna Baldwin in a coma. Almost three months later, DeAnna still remains in a coma, and the Baldwin family is struggling to pay medical bills.
101 Concepts (the restaurant group behind Cibo e Beve, Food 101 and Meehan's) and Whitefield Academy come together to support the Baldwin family with a fundraiser lunch this Saturday, February 28. Both Cibo e Beve and Food 101 are featuring a buffet lunch including selections from chef Linda Harrell and chef Justin Keith, such as chicken marsala, mini Southern fried chicken biscuits, kale salad, and Georgia wild shrimp & grits.
During the lunch, the Baldwin's friends and family, along with restaurant staff, will be collecting donations in any form for the family. The Baldwin Family Lunch will take place at Food 101 on Saturday February 28 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Donations in form of a check can be payable to the Family’s Fund Administrator, Don Baldwin. Additional donations can be sent to Whitefield Academy, ATTN: Eden Gulledge, 1 Whitefield Drive, Mableton, GA 30126.
