Soccer-focused bar Hudson FC International Sports Pub is closing in Brookhaven this weekend after two years.

A representative for Metrotainment Cafes, the restaurant group that owns Hudson FC, confirmed that the pub will close Sunday, Oct. 20.

"We can confirm that Hudson FC will be closing this Sunday, Oct. 20 after two great years of service,” said Metrotainment CEO Jeff Landau in a statement. “We feel that while the restaurant was successful and became a home for Atlanta United and all soccer fans, it was not an ideal location for a soccer bar. We are actively looking for a new location for Hudson FC, and in the meantime we encourage our regulars to continue the watch parties at Hudson Grille - Brookhaven."

Hudson FC opened in August 2017 at 4058 Peachtree Road in the former Pub 71 space in Brookhaven Station.

The spot offered lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and breakfast all-day menus and aired national and international sporting events including soccer, cricket and rugby and opened early for Premier League games.

Metrotainment Cafes owns several metro Atlanta Hudson Grille locations, Einstein's and Joe's on Juniper in Midtown, Guaco Joe's in Vinings and Sugar Shack in Brookhaven. Metrotainment's Cowtippers in Ansley Park closed late last year.
