Former star of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Claudia Jordan , has teamed up with Biagio Cru Wines and Spirits to promote Just Peachy, a new peach sparkling wine. Jordan will be signing bottles for fans this Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Cost Plus store (2530 Cumberland Blvd.) in Smyrna.

Buckhead get ready for a new place for brunch. Eclipse di Luna Buckhead will begin serving brunch this Sunday at 11 a.m. The Spanish tapas-style brunch will take place every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The menu will feature dishes, including huevos benedicto (served with a poached egg, crispy serrano ham and saffron Hollandaise), salmon ahumado de coca (smoked salmon, Calabrian cream cheese, lemon vinaigrette and fresh herbs) and torrejas (Spanish-style French toast). Along with bottomless mimosas from noon to 4 p.m. guests can also get select bottles of wine for half off throughout the day.

 Little Tart Bakeshop owner Sarah O'Brien shared the recipe for these Lavender Lemon Sables. The classic French shortbread cookie is rich and buttery, though the combination of lavender and lemon zest makes it seem light and delicate. Calvin Smyre,  were on hand for unveiling of the first statue of Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday at the statehouse grounds, more than three years after Gov. Nathan Deal first announced the project.  During the hour-long ceremony leading to the unveiling of the statue of Martin Luther King Jr. at the state Capitol on Monday, many speakers, including Gov. Nathan Deal, spoke of King's biography.
