What's for dinner?
From 7-9 p.m. Oct. 12 to Dec. 7, top chefs in metro Atlanta will lead demonstrations and tastings via a series called Simple Abundance, held at The Cook’s Warehouse in midtown and Decatur. The culinary series is a partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB). Participants will learn the secrets to preparing select dishes, enjoy samplings, have the opportunity to win door prizes and simultaneously help feed Atlanta’s hungry since 100 percent of class tuition benefits the ACFB.
Multiple chefs will volunteer their time and resources to lead each session, which ranges from a festive fall dinner to dim sum delights to a southern Thanksgiving. Participating chefs will include Nick Anderson of Rathbun’s; Steven Satterfield of Miller Union; Holly Chute of Georgia Department of Agriculture; George Yu of Makan.
Each session will be $55 - $75 per person. For the complete schedule or to register, visit www.acfb.org/simple-abundance-cooking-classes.
