Frozen sweet treats are coming to Atlanta.

Afolabi Ayanwale is set to open Amir's Parlor in the Edgewood Retail District in the place of now-shuttered Cupcake People at 1245 Caroline St., What Now Atlanta first reported.

The spot, named for Ayanwale's 3-month-old son, will serve shaved ice, ice cream, milkshakes, slushies and flavored pickles,

Set to open in August, Amir's Parlor will offer 20 rotating ice cream flavors, more than 48 kinds of shaved ice and five different kinds of flavored pickles.
