RReal Tacos from the former chef de cuisine of the Spence, Adrian Villarreal, is set to open at the corner of Juniper Street and 6th Avenue in Midtown on Wednesday.

"We are stocked and ready to GO... Officially open on Wednesday!!! See you all then," Villarreal wrote on the restaurant's Facebook page earlier today.

At the heart of the menu, $2.99 tacos served on soft corn tortillas with organic cilantro, onion and lime, including the likes of Pork Trompo, Adobo Grilled Chicken, Grilled Fish, Beef Barbacoa, and Fried Avocado. Soups, salads, starters and sides are in the $3-$3.75 range.

It doesn't look like the restaurant will have its liquor license in time for the official opening (big surprise) but the drinks menu will include margaritas and other cocktails, along with Mexican and craft beers and sangria.
