Dish of the Week: Dirty Bird Sandwich at Fox Bros. B-B-Q
Atlanta has caught Falcons fever. There are lots of ways to jump on the bandwagon in support of the Super Bowl-bound birds, but a tasty way is by chowing down on Falcons-inspired dishes from restaurants around town.
Right now, we’re getting messy with the Dirty Bird Sandwich at Fox Bros. B-B-Q. A soft, pillow of a bun is overstuffed with pieces of tender pulled pork and chicken, both tossed in wing sauce, plus pimento cheese and fried jalapenos – oh, and some bacon, because who doesn’t love a good pile on?
This meaty delight is an off-the-menu special, available now through Game Day, so just ask for it.

For a double dance, add to your order a slice of Dirty Bird Cake: Pound cake batter swirled with mixed berries, frosted with a Fox Bros. quantity (read: generous) of buttercream and garnished with more white shirt-staining berries.
