If you’re craving Thai food and all of its spicy, bold flavors, you don’t have to look far in Roswell. Plenty of options abound, from a quaint restaurant located in a cute little house where you can dine on the front porch to an eatery tucked away in a strip mall that’s always packed, among other reliably tasty Thai spots. Check out these four restaurants the next time you just have to have some Pad Thai or Panang Curry.

1.Rice Thai Cuisine

Located in an adorable little white house on historic Roswell's Canton Street, Rice Thai Cuisine is a quaint restaurant with art-adorned walls, simple tables and a cute porch and patio for dining al fresco. Serving up authentic, street-style Thai fare, the eatery has become a local staple for consistently good dishes that deliver classic Thai flavors. Start with some light basil rolls, then order up one of their many curry dishes or one of the stir-fry meals. And, of course, their Pad Thai Noodle Stir-Fry is a go-to that doesn't disappoint.

2.  Spice of Thai

Tucked away in a strip mall off Holcomb Bridge Road, Spice of Thai looks unassuming from the outside. Inside, however, the recently renovated and rebranded restaurant sports a clean and sophisticated new look that’s inviting. Their menu features a mix of authentic Thai dishes, from curries to rice and noodles—all of which you can customize with the “spice level” of your choosing, ranging from mild (with a hint of red pepper and garlic), to medium, “American Hot” and “Thai Hot” (only for super-spice lovers!). Vegetarian options, chef’s specials, soups and a variety of other entrees complete the offerings. Save room for dessert and try their homemade coconut ice cream.

3. Thai Emerald

Cooking up authentic Thai cuisine using homemade recipes passed down through generations, Thai Emerald is an intimate restaurant where you can sit down to enjoy a flavor-packed meal or grab your grub to go to feed your brood at home (we recommend taking advantage of their cool little patio though). The menu spans traditional fare, like curries, noodles and fried rice, to more elaborate offerings as chef's specials. Try the coconut soup to start before moving on to the Angel Noodles or Pineapple Fried Rice.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                540 W. Crossville Rd., Roswell, 770-552-6700, thaiemeraldrestaurant.com.

4. VUU Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar

Offering a fusion menu that blends traditional Thai, Japanese and Vietnamese for a fresh take, VUU Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar serves up some crave-worthy Thai dishes in a modern space. Order the Massaman Curry, made from Thai curry with coconut milk, potatoes, carrots and onions, and topped with avocado slices and cashews. Or treat yourself to the decadent Lobster Pad Thai, which includes a 6 oz. lobster tail flash fried and sautéed, then stir-fried with classic Pad Thai noodles.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      880 Woodstock Rd., Roswell, 770-650-0288, vuubistro.com.
