A new spot for pizza is coming to the Town Brookhaven development.

Akron, Ohio-based pizza franchise PizzaFire is set to open its first Atlanta location in 2017, according to a post on the Town Brookhaven Facebook page:

It will take over the space left vacant when pizza restaurant Treza closed its doors in 2014.

PizzaFire, which has locations throughout Ohio and is set to launch locations in several cities including Pittsburgh, Miami and Houston, is a build-your-own pizza concept that also offers a variety of sides and salads.

The opening announcement comes on the heels on the closure of Slice of Brookhaven . AJC food critic Elizabeth Lenhard recently gave a favorable review to Avellino's in Brookhaven.

The eatery will be the latest restaurant to open at Town Brookhaven, following the openings earlier this year of Jefe's Tacos & Tequila and Tin Can Oyster Bar and Tropical Smoothie Cafe last month .
