And in honor of American Craft Beer week, today’s special Monday edition Beer Pick is Second Self Make IPA Great Again.
Make IPA Great Again
Second Self Beer Co., Atlanta
Available on draft and in cans
A satirical beer with a message from Second Self cofounders Jason Santamaria and Chris Doyle, who created the “throwback double IPA as an homage to the bitter and clear IPAs that inspired them to start brewing over a decade ago.”
It's brewed with with dank, resiny blend of Cascade, Centennial, Chinook and Simcoe hops, giving it classic American pine and citrus notes with a unreconstructed bitter finish.
Second Self says Make IPA Great Again is “best enjoyed on the golf course or while browsing Twitter on Stormy nights,” and suggests pairing it with well-done steak with ketchup, taco bowls, Russian dressing, and anything off the dollar menu.
