We’re in the season of giving, and non-profit organizations are looking to draw support for their causes. As food lovers, we can be easily swayed when food and drink are involved. We found five fundraisers that celebrate good food and a good cause.

The event: Fox Bros. Bar-b-q and Monday Night Brewing team up to serve barbecue and craft beer tastings. Live music by The Tip Jar Miner's, a local "outlaw country" band, and The Breeze Kings blues band.

The cause:. Proceeds benefit Atlanta Humane Society's programs. The organization finds homes for more than 8,000 pets per year.
