Pea Ridge Kitchen & Bar is set to open on May 19 in the former Country Cafe space just off the Lawrenceville Highway exit from I-285.
John Peter Casey, Patrick Dunn, formerly of Leon's Full Service , and Brian Hogan, of Shorty's Pizza , are partnering on the restaurant that's named for the abundance of pea farms that once occupied the Decatur-to-Tucker highway corridor.
Billed as “simple fresh foods, made from scratch, and served with love in a fun atmosphere,” look for starters, salads and sandwiches, plus four weekly seasonal entrees, including meat, fish, pasta and vegetarian choices.
BYOB with no corkage fee on opening. But once the liquor license is in place, Rich Lavery will be heading up the full bar program.
