Ready for some Cuban food, Druid Hills?

Papi's Cuban & Caribbean Grill is set to open its seventh metro Atlanta location on Jan. 30 at 1540 Avenue Place, Suite B-240. The restaurant will join Papis in Midtown, Stockbridge, Kennesaw, Lawrenceville, Tucker and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

The restaurant's menu will feature dishes including pollo vaca frita (shredded chicken breast grilled with Spanish seasoning and green and red pepper), mofongo con camarones (stir-fried shrimp with red and green peppers) and arroz con pollo (a traditional Cuban dish of marinated chicken and rice), as well as a signature Cuban sandwich.

Beverages will include fresh juices, milkshakes, smoothies and Cuban coffee, as well as a full bar menu featuring mojitos, craft beers and wine by the glass.

Most of the restaurant's recipes are inspired by the childhood of owner Reynaldo "Rey" Regalado, who immigrated from Cuba nearly 30 years ago.

The 4300-square foot Emory Point location will seat 140 in the dining room, with a covered bar that will seat 50.

The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sundays. Coffee and pastries will be served from 9-11 a.m. daily.
