When you hear "food truck," you probably think of pavement and eating on the go. Atlanta has its fair share of food trucks, but Truck & Tap is far from your typical food truck parking lot experience. Instead, it's a casual and friendly restaurant tucked in between two shops on Main Street in downtown Woodstock that invites patrons to sit down and enjoy a meal from a daily rotation of local food trucks.

Oversized, garage bay doors on the front and back walls open the rustic, modern space up for fresh air and people watching. Indoors you’ll be greeted with a laid-back pub vibe, complete with an innovative, rotating selection of a dozen 12 craft beers to pair with the food truck fare. If you don’t know the first thing about beer and food pairing, don’t be intimidated; Truck & Tap's friendly Cicerone-certified beer servers will help you choose something based on your menu selection. In addition to the suds on tap, you’ll find bottled domestics, wine, mixed drinks and nonalcoholic options like sugar cane sodas.

Just out back, a small deck offers a few more tables, and a gravel lot with additional picnic table seating next to the food truck. Part of what makes Truck & Tap so enticing is that every visit offers a different experience thanks to its rotating schedule of trucks throughout the week—one day you could be noshing on a brisket grilled cheese from Angelfire7 BBQ, the next day could be carnitas tacos from El Nopal Mexican.

The food truck lineup this Memorial Day Weekend is:

May 26 - Dominic's NY Pizza

May 27 -  The Pickle, serving chef-driven cuisine

May 28 -  Tasting Maine, with Maine lobster rolls and other dishes featuring North Atlantic seafood

May 29 - The Loaded Burger, offering decadent mac-and-cheese burgers and other creative bites on a bun.
