If you are the type of diner who likes to take advantage of restaurant deals and steals, you may want to check out a new feature on the OpenTable app.

Beginning today, the online restaurant-reservation service is piloting in the Atlanta market a new feature called "Specials," which enables restaurants to entice diners with special menus and seasonal dishes and pairings at great prices.

Currently, there are 20 restaurants in metro Atlanta participating in the “Specials” feature, including The Southern Gentleman, Nakato Japanese Restaurant, Milton’s Cuisine and Cocktails, Anis Café and Bistro, Il Giallo Osteria & Bar and Novo Cucina.

Users can view and book the list of restaurants and their specials by opening the OpenTable app and tapping on the "Specials" tile on the Home tab. Ordering specials is optional; users can also select items on a restaurant’s regular menu or simply make a reservation.

The company is also piloting the new feature in Baltimore. The enhancement will become available in other cities in the coming months.
