One Rooster Mongolian Bar set to open in Atlanta this month

Feb 6, 2017

A redux of an old Atlanta favorite is coming home to roost.

One Rooster Mongolian Bar is set to open Feb. 15 in the former Real Chow Baby space at 1016 Howell Mill Road in Atlanta, according to a post on the restaurant's Facebook page:

One Rooster is the brainchild of Mike Blum, who founded The Real Chow Baby, which previously occupied the space.

The new restaurant's concept is described on its Facebook page as "A create your own stir-fry experience like none other, focusing on fresh and natural ingredients with a Polynesian flare." Ingredients will include vegetables, rice, noodles, seafood and shaved meats, house-made sauces and spices, and a selection of appetizers including conch fritters, ahi tuna poke and Cambodian wings.

The space will feature expanded covered outdoor seating and a large full-service bar overlooking Howell Mill Road, with a beverage menu offering Asian-Pacific cocktails, wines and beers and adult shaved ice drinks, as well as a separate juice bar serving up frozen drinks, bubble tea and soft serve.
