Carson Young was a trendsetter when he first rolled his Yumbii food truck onto the streets of Atlanta in 2010, serving up Asian-Mexican grub to those with a pang for panko-crusted fish tacos. After six years of following its feed on Twitter and Facebook, Yumbii devotees can finally stop worrying about where to catch the truck, because Yumbii is getting a permanent home.

Yumbii Taco Shop will open this fall at 1927 Peachtree Road, N.E., in Brookwood Village in South Buckhead. The 1,440-square-foot restaurant will have counter service but will offer seating for dine-in customers. Regulars will recognize their favorite menu items – from spicy pulled pork sliders to sesame fries with Sriracha-cheese dip – but they can also expected to see an expanded menu, including items like breakfast tacos, salads, Mexican-style street corn and rice bowls.

The company anticipates expanding with additional brick-and-morta r spots, however no timeline or locations have been announced.
