A new place for light bulb tea, other 'hip' food coming to Buford Highway
Buford Highway has had no shortage of social media-friendly desserts and drinks of late -- think Thai ice cream rolls , Hong Kong egg waffles and matcha lattes.
Ready for the next big thing? Mist Snack Dessert Bar, which is set to open within the next few days in Orient Center on 4897 Buford Hwy NE in Chamblee, is betting you'll be lighting up Instagram with pictures of your lightbulb tea. That's right -- it's tea served in a light bulb.
It's one of several "trendy food and drink" items that will be available on Mist's menu, according to co-owner Lilly Zhao, who also co-owns Mini Hot Pot Deluxe next door. Other options include a variety of pizza cones, including eel and durian; poke bowls; detox fruit waters; and bubble teas.
"Our concept is eating happy and healthy," Topot said of the eatery, which will feature an industrial interior design.
