Missy and Kristin Koefod, founders of 18.21 Bitters, will be opening a new cocktail and coffee bar on The BeltLine. George, the bar's tentative name, will open this fall along the BeltLine's Eastside trail between Krog Street Market and Studioplex.

The 2,300 square foot space will allow customers to enjoy coffee and pastries in the morning and signature cocktails in the evening. 18.21 Bitters is known for its Prohibition-era cocktails and small batch bitters . The new cafe will continue to highlight the creative concoctions from the Koefods.

George is a part of the second phase of the Studioplex development in Old Fourth Ward. The complex is located at 659 Auburn Ave., right off the Beltline’s Eastside trail.
