It looks like the Atlanta BeltLine is quickly becoming a mecca for craft beer.

Recently,   former Stone brewmaster Mitch Steele announced that he was  coming to Atlanta to develop a new craft brewery and brewpub , which will be located on the BeltLine near Ralph McGill Blvd.

Now, Atlanta's Monday Night Brewing has announced that it's building a second brewery focusing on barrel-aged and sour beers that will be located in a new complex under construction on the BeltLine's Southwest corridor.

"We are building this brewery along one of the largest urban renewal projectsin the country: the BeltLine. We are planting an urban orchard to aid in wild fermentation. We are opening a 2nd tasting room as part of this new development. We hope to be open Summer 2017."

"It’s a pretty exciting project for us, and definitely a shift in direction, but one we’ve been thoughtful about," Jonathan Baker, "Marketing Guy" at Monday Night, said in a note this morning.
