Ready for some new 'cue, Roswell?

Moe's Original Bar-B-Que is set to open its second metro Atlanta location in mid-August at 12020 Etris Rd Suite B-140 in the Sweet Apple Village shopping center. There's already a Moe's at 349 14th St. NW in Midtown. The chain also has locations in several other states including South Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama.

The menu features pulled pork, smoked ribs, wings, turkey and chicken served with two sauces, catfish and a Shrimp Moe-Boy sandwich. A variety of side dishes and desserts are also offered, in addition to a full bar.

The Roswell location will seat about 100 customers and will "utilize rustic looking woodwork with antique metal trims to provide a classic down home southern feel," according to a press release. A full size garage door will open up to a large patio area furnished with picnic tables.

Chris Clowers and Mike Ellis, who own several other Moe's locations in Alabama, are partnering with Roswell natives Kyle McCarter and Andrew Justin on the Roswell Moe's. The restaurant will be open daily at 11 a.m. and will offer bingo and trivia during the weekdays and live music on the weekends.
