Ponce City Market is having a busy February. On the heels of the news that City Winery will host its first performance this weekend and that an opening date has been set for Guy Wong's Ton Ton , comes news that Marrakesh Mediterranean Market is open for business. The restaurant served its first lunch crowd yesterday, according to a post on its Facebook page:

Marrakesh is the brainchild of Dikla Birnbaum, who owns Pita Grille at 4630 Wieuca Rd NE in Atlanta. The menu offers regionally-inspired dishes including seasoned meat kebabs, hummus and tahini, a variety of regional spices, cheeses and fresh pita breads made daily.
