The concept is "like a bridge between Whole Food and a farmers market," said Steven Carse, who co-owns King of Pops with his brother, Nick. The products being offered are "the best of the best in local producers," Carse said, but still allows customers to get the stories behind the products they're buying.

The venture, which is being launched along with Cory Mosser of Natural Born Tillers, will feature products from local vendors including King of Pops' farm King of Crops; Timpson Creek Farm, Woodland Gardens, Pine Street Market , Decimal Place Farm, Doux South, Banner Butter and Pure Bliss Granola.
