An Atlanta institution is about to expand.
Henri's Bakery & Cafe, which moved into a new Buckhead space over the summer , will open at 2310 Coronet Way in the Westside neighborhood on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
The 5,000-square-foot kitchen and retail space will also house much of the company's bakery operations. The shop will offer quick-service breakfast and lunch, including deli sandwiches, and a wide variety of baked goods including cookies, pastries, breads, cakes and its original recipe doughnuts.
The Westside location will host a holiday party from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 featuring bakery samples, a balloon artist, face painting and Christmas-themed costumed characters.
Henri's, which opened in 1929, recently moved to the Andrews Square development in Buckhead. It was previously located at Peachtree and 10th streets, Rhodes Center, Peachtree Palisades and the corner of Peachtree and Piedmont Avenue before settling into a location on Irby Avenue in 1969. There's also a Henri's location in Sandy Springs.
