Josh Ozersky, Esquire editor at large and food editor, named Atlanta's innovative Gunshow one of Esquire's Best New Restaurants of 2014.

Gunshow, which opened in May of 2013, is one of 12 restaurants included on the Best New list.

To celebrate, Gunshow chefs Kevin Gillespie and Joey Ward cooked Georgia olive oil poached white shrimp with green apple, buttermilk crème fraiche, celery and wasabi, and open-pit pork ribs with Amish-style cream slaw at the Esquire American Food and Drink Awards party in New York City.

The Cecil in Harlem was named Best New Restaurant, and Paul Qui of Qui in Austin, Texas was named Best New Chef.
